Angels from the Realms of Glory

The first people, outside of Joseph and Mary, to hear the announcement of the birth of the Savior was not the rich and powerful, but common shepherds. While shepherds were tending their flock, in the same fields that centuries before David had tended his sheep, the angel of the Lord came to them with the most wonderful of news. The Savior of the world has been born! This child who was born will be the Redeemer who had been promised from of old.

The amazing birth of the Redeemer fortold

The amazing birth of the Redeemer in the womb of the virgin Mary, is one of the most important events in redemptive history. The Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, was born to save people from their sins. The Son of God came into the world, being conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the virgin Mary, so that he might go to the cross, as the atoning sacrifice for sinners.
