A sermon on Joel 2:18-27: “Restoration and Hope”
Even as God brought judgment on the nation of Israel because of their sin, He promises to be gracious and merciful. There is great hope for God’s people in the Day of the Lord because He will restore all things. He will provide for their needs. We have this hope in Christ. In Christ we have the forgiveness of sins. We have been declared righteous in the sight of the Father because of the obedience and satisfaction of Jesus Christ our Savior For those who trust and rest in Him alone by faith for their salvation there is, truly restoration and hope. And this is a gift given to us, not because of anything in and of ourselves, but because of Christ.
